Amelia Fletcher
Melia Fletcher a beekeeper, traveler, and storyteller based out of Asheville, North Carolina. Her favourite place to be is somewhere in the Blue Ridge mountains with those two wild ones you see above, but she loves new adventures and plan to see as much of this big beautiful world as I can. Stories are what drew me to photography way back when I first shot my friends portraits with a disposable camera years ago, and I'm fascinated by a photo's ability to make you feel something and convey what words cannot. My roots here have heavily influenced what inspires my work now. Natural elements and personal histories tend to be the red thread that runs all throughout my portfolio.
Francois Delfosse
Francois Delfosse born in Namur, Belgium is a respected architect and photographer who is best known for his series of work 'Antartica in a bag' where he used plastic bags to replicate the setting of Antarica. He says that the images were taken in a “glacier cave just North of the South Pole”, before adding that they are “viewed from the inside of a plastic bag”. In a interview he said 'I was inspired by "American Beauty", there is a scene in the film where a plastic bag is softly lifted and driven away by the wind. The bag obviously portrayed a character tossed to and fro by life, with no control over his life'.
Man against nature
Nadav Kander - Half Life
Nadav Kander was born in Israel on December 1st 1961. When he was small he always told my friends that my dad lost his left eye because of flying at extreme altitudes testing Mirage fighter planes for the Israeli Air Force. But that’s not true. He flew Boeing 707s for El- Al and lost his eye for medical reasons. Due to this he was grounded in his prime. He was 37 and looking for a job. I was 2 at the time. My parents decided to go and start again in South Africa, where my grandfather lived. So my earliest memory is throwing up on the flight from Tel Aviv to Johannesburg on my third birthday. I lived there until I had turned 21 and left for England.
This is a place where it is destroyed and ruined which looks like theres no human taking care of the world or that the world has been infected by chaos and destruction.

Sinichi Higashi
Shinichi has mainly focused his shots on the light coming from cars and other motor vehicles that have gone past the overpass that the photographer is standing on throughout the night, which has made these beautiful bright trails of light. He also decided that instead of just having one bend in the road he would make an exact copy to make the photograph symmetrical which for me makes the photo more futuristic and a Sci-fi sort of feel.

Eadweard Muybridge
Eadweard Muybridge was an English-American photographer important for his pioneering work in photographic studies of motion, and early work in motion-picture projection. He adopted the first name Eadweard as the original Anglo-Saxon form of Edward, and the surname Muybridge, believing it to be similarly archaic.

force of water
First response - water outside
I like the contrast between the water and the flowers, making it a really a successful photo. Also it shows the diversion between the water and flowers and the water separates it.
I like how the water reflects the flowers making it really successful and it makes it even cooler which is why this photo is in my final piece.
